News here is that everything is fine. I have had a horrible cold the last week, made more intense by the limited amount of medicine I am allowed to take, but I seem to be on the mend. The next doctor's appointment, Monday, she will start checking my cervix. Because of the gestational diabetes, they will not let me go past my due date. So, in case I don't go into labor on my own, they'll be checking for the optimal time to induce me. We'll also get new measurements on Dorian and see how big he is. I have gained almost no weight in the past 7 weeks or so, but I have the feeling the baby is growing by leaps and bounds.

We're excited to meet our little guy and I find the closer I get to my due date the less stressed I feel about labor and delivery. I have a great doctor and a supportive husband and I am all about the epidural, if I need it. So, we'll be fine. I'm more nervous at this point about not having the nursery totally ready, but mom is going to help me with that this week.

Also, I get my third baby shower on the 16th! Yay!
